Hyundai Motor Company will unveil an all-new concept car at this year’s Salon International de L’Automobile in Geneva on the 3rd March, and the first image of the vehicle has just been released. This innovative concept portrays a dramatic new look for compact SUVs and was styled at the company’s European Design headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

The world première of this new concept – codenamed HED-6 – will take centre stage on the Hyundai stand.

Hyundai i30 Green Diesel wins class QUIT Targa West rally 2008

The Hyundai i30 SX CRDi Green Diesel production car won its class within the ‘Modern Challenge’ category at the 2008 QUIT Targa West tarmac rally.

There were 12 starters in the Modern Challenge category which included a number of Porsche competitors, an Aston Martin Vantage and a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR. The i30 SX CRDi Green Diesel finished 7th overall.

Hyundai has announced that it is continuing its support of the ‘Goals For Grassroots’ Hyundai A-League football program. The program is designed to help football within local communities.

The program spans all 21 rounds of the Hyundai A-League season. Hyundai will donate a minimum of $1,000 guaranteed but the more goals their ‘home’ team scores in the match, the more money will be donated by Hyundai (up to $5,000 total).
